• Overview of Expanding Graphics Ad
  
  The Expanding Graphic Ad is an Enriched Ad Solution that expands the 468 X 60 banner into a larger image 468 x 500 as the user "hovers-over" the banner. When the user removes their mouse pointer from the expanded graphic, the banner retracts back into the original 468 X 60 banner space.
  The bottom 468 X 500 portion is the extension of the graphic. The graphic can have any links or fields that the advertiser wants to include, as long as the ad adheres to size and weight requirements. 

• The End-user Experience

   

  1. A user hovers over any part of the graphic and the graphic content expands below the original graphic above the Web page content. When the user's mouse is within the expanded creative space, the expanded space remains on the page. When the user hovers outside of the expanded creative space, the expanded ad disappears and gives the appearance of retracting the expanded ad.
     

  2. Only users with IE 5.0 on a PC are served this ad. 

• Data Logged by the Advertising System 

  The EIM Net@ds advertising system logs the following data and uses those data to create reports :

   

  •  Impression—Number of impressions for the entire ad experience. 

   

  • Click Through—Total click through for the entire ad. 

   

  • Mouse Over Data—Total number of times that a user hovered-over and actually expanded the HTML form.
